The maintenance of thin-walled molds is more important than the maintenance of thin-walled molds. The more times a mold is repaired, the shorter its lifespan; The better the maintenance of the mold, the longer its service life will be. Mold maintenance mainly includes three points:
1. Daily maintenance of thin-walled molds: various moving parts such as the ejector pin, row position, guide pillar, and guide sleeve should be lubricated, the mold surface should be cleaned, and the drainage channel for water transportation should be maintained daily during mold production;
2. Regular maintenance: Regular maintenance includes cleaning the exhaust groove in addition to daily maintenance, adding exhaust to the trapped gas burning black area, and correcting damaged and worn parts;
3. Appearance maintenance: Paint the outer side of the mold to prevent rust. When lowering the mold, apply rust proof oil to the fixed and moving molds. When storing the mold, it should be tightly closed to prevent dust from entering the mold cavity.
